CJ Ingram tosses touchdown pass in Hornets' 22-13 victory

Quarterback CJ Ingram threw a touchdown pass to help lead Hawthorne to a 22-13 victory over Madison County on Thursday night in the Florida (FHSAA) Class 1R state football championship game in Tallahassee.

The Hornets' (13-0) defense contributed to the scoring with a safety and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Hawthorne avenged a 13-12 loss to Madison County in the 2021 Class 1A state title game.
