Florida State's Mike Norvell uses helicopter to make recruiting visits at multiple Tampa schools

Florida State football coach Mike Norvell made his rounds around the Tampa Bay area on Tuesday and did it in style.
The Seminoles’ lead man traveled around to multiple Tampa-area schools via helicopter, visiting schools like 2023 Class 2M state champion Berkeley Prep and 2021 Class 5A state champion Jesuit.

Norvell stopping by schools in Tampa Bay made quite an impression on the area, including those like Buccaneers’ junior athlete Dallas Golden and Tigers’ head coach Matt Thompson.
Golden was one of the standouts in Berkeley Prep's 28-20 victory over Miami Norland back in December for the 2M title. The junior dynamo rushed for 1,467 yards on 205 carries and scored 19 touchdowns.
The projected safety has offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL) and Notre Dame.

One of Norvell's biggest gets out of the Tampa Bay area of the 2024 recruiting class was nabbing 4-star cornerback Charles Lester III of Venice. Lester highlighted what has looked like a strong recruitment class for Norvell.
Florida State's 2024 recruiting class consists of 22 commitments and is rated No. 7 nationally.
