St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) offensive lineman William Roberts III announced his commitment to play for Bethune-Cookman on Saturday evening via X, formerly known as Twitter. 

Roberts III, the son of rapper Rick Ross, was a contributor to the Raiders’ 2023 Class 3M state championship team. The senior offensive guard/center helped pave the way for an offense that totaled nearly 6,000 yards of offense and 76 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound senior had offers from schools like Miami (FL), Syracuse, Florida International, Texas A&M, Colorado and Albany State. 

Ross played on the gridiron before stepping out into the music industry, as he played collegiately at Albany State.
