OUTLOOK
Meadowdale’s 3-6 effort in 2018 shouldn’t be any indicator for what’s to come for the Mavericks in 2019 — first-year head coach James Harmon will have a team stocked with returning varsity talent.
They’ve had a couple down years, but Harmon said that the squad is dedicated to turning that around.
Offensively, they’ll be led by two-time all-league quarterback Hunter Moen, and the lefty will have plenty of weapons at his disposal including receivers Mason Vaughn and Colton Walsh.
On the other side of the ball, they lose both of their all-league selections to graduation but will return essentially everyone else.
