THREE TO SEE
Daniel Hylton, quarterback
Gators hoping school’s best high jumper -- and receiver -- flies high at new position
Isaac May, linebacker
He might be shuffling around on offensive side, but this will always be defensive home
Zechariah Siva, offensive lineman
School’s top heavyweight wrestler, plenty of action will happen behind him at guard
THREE TO SEE
Vaeena, a Texas transplant, is wasting no time trying to find an offensive backfield combination that works entering his third season with the program -- and second year leading the way.
May came into last season as the quarterback, but broke his finger, leaving ninth grader Sennai Heyliger with the job the rest of the way.
Heyliger decided to concentrate on wrestling, and did not come out for football in the spring, leaving Vaeena in a bind.
His solution was his top wide receiver -- Hylton. The senior is one of the team’s best athletes, and the Gators will certainly try to cut him loose in the zone-read option (although he has a strong arm, too).
May (who is still the emergency quarterback), Clay and Satterwhite will be a rotation in the running-back corps.
