2022 St. Augustine defensive lineman Gracen Halton commits to Oregon Ducks football

Class of 2022 St. Augustine defensive lineman Gracen Halton announced his commitment to the University of Oregon on Wednesday night.

Class of 2022 St. Augustine defensive lineman Gracen Halton announced his commitment to the University of Oregon on Wednesday night. He chose the Ducks over offers from Arizona State, Nebraska, USC, and Penn State.

Halton was disruptive for the Saints defense as a sophomore as he racked up 55 tackles, three and a half sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. Halton also saw time at running back and tight end for St. Augustine in 2019.

247Sports.com ranks Halton as the 11th best weak-side defensive end nationally in the 2022 class. He becomes the first junior football prospect in San Diego to make their college decision.
