McEachern's re-ascent up the rankings continued as the Indians scored their fifth straight win, a nail-biter over Grayson.

They're now 6-4 playing one of the toughest schedules in Georgia.

Last week: 1

Newton has yet to play a game since its last win against Pinson Valley. 

2. Eagle's Landing (8-0)

Last week: 3

Eagle's Landing has won 24 straight games dating back to last season and already have a region record of 6-0.

3. Pebblebrook (8-2) 

Last week: 2

Pebblebrook traveled to Las Vegas to face Durango (Nevada) and lost 57-47. The Falcons' second game came against Oak Ridge (Florida), which ended in a six-point victory for Pebblebrook. Durango and Oak Ridge are top-ranked programs in their respective states. 

4. Wheeler (6-3)

Lask week: 6

Wheeler routed Sprayberry by a score of 75-56, pushing the Wildcats' win streak to three games. 

5. Berkmar (4-2) 

Lask week: 4

Berkmar’s four-game win streak was snapped by Montverde Academy. The 76-51 loss was the Patriots' first since their first game of the season.

6. Grayson (5-2)

Last week: 5

Grayson suffered its second loss at the hands of McEachern by a score of 64-62, ending the Rams' four-game win streak.

7. St. Pius X Catholic (8-1)

Last week: 7

St. Pius is coming off two big region victories, beating M.L. King 89-42 and Northview 73-44. The Golden Lions' win streak now sits at eight games. 

8. Norcross (8-3)

Last week: 8

After two straight losses decided by less than three points, Norcross rebounded and captured two straight wins last week, one of them a come-from-behind one-point victory over Archer. 

9. Milton (4-2)

Last week: 9

Milton rebounded from its loss to Berkmar and got a win against Charlotte (Florida) in the City of Palms tournament. 

10. Pace Academy (7-3)

Last week: 13

The Knights returned to their winning ways with a 54-50 victory over Sandy Creek. 

11. South Gwinnett (9-0)

Last week: 15

South Gwinnett’s 50-44 victory over Dillard (Florida) was the 12th straight win for the Comets. 

12. Baldwin (8-1)

Last week: 10

Baldwin suffered its first loss since February 2020. The 34-29 loss to McDonough is the fewest points the Braves have scored and allowed in the past five seasons. 

13. North Gwinnett (7-3)

Last week: 16

 North Gwinnett captured two big wins, and the stars came out to play. RJ Godfrey and Thomas Allard balled out in the Bulldogs' wins over Cedar Shoals and McGill-Toolen (Alabama)

14. Sandy Creek (7-2) 

Last week: 12

Sandy Creek has lost two straight after falling to Pace Academy 54-50. 

15. McEachern (6-4)

Last week: 19

After beating Grayson 64-62, McEachern has won five straight after starting 1-4. 

16. Centennial (10-1)

Last week: 11

Centennial suffered its first loss on the season after scoring a season-low 58 points against Parkview. 

17. Shiloh (7-0)

Last week: 17

Shiloh remains undefeated after taking care of Winder-Barrow and North Cobb. 

18. Westlake (9-4)

Last week: 18

 Westlake has won three straight and eight of its last nine games. The Lions most recent win came against Fayette County, barely escaping by one point. 

19. Osborne (8-0)

Last week: 20

Osborne extended its win streak to eight after a 67-47 blowout against Kennesaw Mountain. 

20. Buford (4-1)

Last week: 21

Buford has won five in a row after taking down region opponent Lanier 83-73. 

21. McDonough (9-1)

Last week: 22

McDonough has won four straight after giving Baldwin its first loss in almost two years. 

22. West Forsyth (10-1)

Last week: 23

West Forsyth’s 89-72 win over Lambert was the team’s 10th in a row and fourth win over a region opponent. 

23. Hillgrove (10-1)

Last week: 24

Hillgrove dominated Woodstock by a score of 95-37. The Hawks' 10-1 start is the best in school history. 

24. Tri-Cities (7-2)

Last week: 14

Tri-Cities’ five-game win streak came to an end after a loss to Etowah.

25. Alexander (7-0)

Last week: Unranked

Alexander is having one of the best starts in school history and is already four wins away from equaling its win total from last season. The Cougars are coming off a thrilling victory over Lithonia and are set to face North Gwinnett next.
