Dimitri Angelakos, Etowah baseball

Angelakos had the best of both worlds in Etowah’s win over Cherokee. He pitched six shutout innings and hit a three-run homer.

Marissa Ashton, Buford gymnastics

Ashton won the all-around title plus individual titles in the bars and vault at the GHSA state championships.

Carson Ballard, Wesleyan baseball

The Georgia Tech commit came up big for the Wolves with a grand slam and seven RBIs against Hebron Christian. He also pitched a shutout against the Lions.

Dawson Coe, Loganville baseball

Coe pitched a no-hitter in a 10-0 win over Eastside with seven strikeouts.

Jordyn Crosby, Denmark soccer

The Santa Clara commit scored the lone goal on a header for undefeated Denmark in a 1-0 win over Parkview in the second round of the Class 7A playoffs.

Madelyn Crow, Pike County gymnastics

Crow swept the all-around and individual titles at the 1A-5A state championships, including scoring perfect 10s in the beam, floor and vault.

Chandler Jones, Decatur baseball

Jones helped close out Mountain View in the last game of the season, hitting two home runs.

Carson Kerce, Pope baseball

Kerce set a new Pope record for saves in a season with seven. He also had a triple and an RBI against Wheeler.

Garrett Lambert, Parkview baseball

Lambert pitched six innings of one-hit ball against Buford. He struck out 11 batters and went 2-for-4 at the plate with a homer and two RBIs.

Logan Montgomery, Ridgeland track and field

The future Florida Gator had the farthest shot put in the state this season at 65'2, good for fourth in the country.

Sidi Njie, Westlake track and field

The freshman broke his own school record again in the 400 meters, running a 46.87, the fastest time in the state this season and seventh in the nation.

Ty Peeples, Franklin County baseball

Peeples was seeing the ball well to end the season, going 8-for-10 in the final series with five singles, two doubles and a triple against East Jackson.

Hayden Shoup, Walton baseball

Shoup helped lead Walton to a region title. He went 2-for-2 with two triples and three three RBIs.

Braden Smith, North Oconee baseball

North Oconee swept Madison County, with lots of help from Smith. He had two home runs and five RBIs.

Palmer Walstad, Westminster track and field

Walstad nudged in front of Harrison's Samantha McGarity for the top 1,600 time in the state this season with a 4:57.65.
