EJ Colson, 4-star quarterback, commits to UCF over Arkansas, Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic

ELLENWOOD, GEORGIA- Could this summer of commitments be the best the UCF Knights ever have had?
The answer looks day by day more increasingly towards a yes as Gus Malzahn’s staff has continued to make a strong run throughout Georgia.
Thursday evening continued with another strong commitment to the Knights.
Cedar Grove (Georgia) junior quarterback EJ Colson announced Thursday evening via Twitter that he is committing to the Knights. The signal caller is a 4-star rated Class of 2025 prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Arkansas, Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic.
Colson led Cedar Grove to the AAA state championship game as they finished with a record of 11-3 in 2022. As a sophomore, Colson was spectacular and completed 182-of-290 passes for 2,632 yards, 29 touchdowns and a mere six picks. He also showed his versatility on the ground, carrying the ball 127 times for 486 yards and 10 scores.
