Vote: Who has been the best freshman running back in Georgia so far in 2023?

We are just past the mid-point part of the high school football season here in the Peach State and there’s no shortage of underclassmen performing at a high level. It’s no surprise that freshmen are showing out in Georgia as that’s been the case in the past many times over. This list of underclassmen features some of the top running backs we’ve seen or have been on the rise in Georgia. Take a look at our list and vote for who you feel has been the top performing freshman running back in Georgia.

Here are this week's nominations:
Darius White, Decatur: Leading all freshmen in rushing yards this season so far is White as the tailback has totaled 586 yards on 82 attempts and five touchdowns.
Deron Foster, Valdosta: The Wildcats running back has done a nice job this season, rushing for 414 yards on 59 carries and six touchdowns.
Brayden Stoker, Gordon Lee: Another freshman running back that’s broken the 500-yard barrier is Stoker, who has rushed 532 yards on 68 carries and 10 touchdowns.
Quinterrius Gipson, Kell: The Longhorns running back has performed well through his first varsity campaign as Gipson has rushed for 431 yards on 59 attempts and five touchdowns.
Brayden Tyson, Brookwood: Tyson has played against some tough competition and has rushed for 377 yards on 60 carries and scored twice.
Adam McGinnis, Rock Springs Christian: McGinnis is averaging 69 yards per game for Rock Springs Christian as a freshman. The tailback has scored four touchdowns, 414 yards on 83 carries.
Gavin Steele, Mount Paran Christian: Steele continues impressing throughout this 2023 season, as the running back has carried the rock 78 times for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
Kendall Hunt, North Springs: The North Springs running back has played very well this fall, with Hunt has run the ball 69 times for 292 yards and two touchdowns.
