Look: NFL legend Ed Reed coaches in Georgia playoff game

It’s not everyday you get to see a Pro Football Hall of Famer coaching in a high school football game.
If you were at the Class 5A first round playoff game between Chamblee-Coffee, you would’ve seen one of arguably the best safeties in National Football League history.
Former Miami Hurricanes/Baltimore Ravens’ free safety Ed Reed was on the Chamblee Bulldogs’ sidelines coaching against the Coffee Trojans. The Trojans won the first round matchup 56-0.

Reed has a son that plays for Chamblee, Edward Reed III, who is sophomore defensive back for the Bulldogs. Chamblee finished the season with a record of 4-7.
The former NFL great had a storied career collegiately and professionally. Reed was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
During Reed’s time in the NFL, he intercepted 64 passes and scored 13 touchdowns throughout his career. Reed was apart of the Miami Hurricanes’ 2001 national championship team and also the Baltimore Ravens’ 2012 Super Bowl XLVII winning club.
