Coffee (Georgia) to face Mainland in Week 5 of 2024 high school football season

The 2023 AAAAA state champion Trojans are slated to face the Buccaneers in late September

The monster matchups between Florida-Georgia teams continued late on Monday evening. 

After Milton announced its 2024 scheduled, which includes a Week 2 date against Plantation American Heritage (Florida) down in South Florida, Coffee took its turn. 

The Coffee Trojans announced its 2024 schedule, which includes games against three teams from Florida. One that stood out the most was a Sep. 20th home date against Mainland, the 2023 Class 3S state champions. 

Mike Coe’s Trojans are coming off a magical 2023 15-0 campaign in which he led the program to its first ever state championship. Coe is no stranger to winning state titles as he won a few down in Florida while as head coach at Madison County (Florida). 

Also on the Trojans’ 2024 schedule is Columbia and Gadsden County from Florida.
