PUYALLUP — Bellevue handed Lakeside its first loss of the season when it mattered most: the 3A state semifinals.

Friday evening's matchup at Sparks Stadium went scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods and ended in a shootout, with Wolverines goalkeeper Ashley Heinz standing tall.
