Congratulations to Bonneville senior Sydnee Hunt for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week!

The senior guard had 17 points, seven assists and five steals in a loss to Lake City, and had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists in a loss to Post Falls.

Hunt ran away with this week's honor, receiving96.67% of the vote.

Jaleesa Lawrence, Meridian: Bishop Kelly scored 28 points. Lawrence finished with 29, outscoring the Knights in a lopsided win, per The Idaho Press. She also turned around and had 23 points and seven boards in a narrow near-comeback loss to Mountain View.

Piper Curry, Nampa: Scored 18 points in a nine-point win over Skyview, reports The Idaho Press.

Kate Clark, Melba: Finished with 30 points, outscoring opposing Salad in a 71-12 win, reports The Idaho Press, then had 17 points and seven steals in a win over Century.

Demi Thompson, Mountain View: Her 18 points helped Mountain View stave off a furious Meridian comeback to win, 63-61, according to The Idaho Press.

Austyn Harris, Parma: Scored 20 points, pulled down six boards to help Parma escape Americaan Falls to win the Parma Holiday Tournament, reports The Idaho Press.

Lauren Davenport, Thunder Ridge: Scored 18 points to help Thunder Ridge outlast Coeur d’Alene in overtime, reports The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Madi Symons, Coeur d’Alene: Took Thunder Ridge to the wire with 32 points in an overtime loss, according to The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Mia Sorensen, Bonneville: Scored a career-high 21 points to lead Bonneville, who lost on a put-back at the buzzer to Post Falls, reports The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Riley Cessna, Sandpoint: Scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, in a lopsided win over St. Maries, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Amari Whiting, Burley: Finished with 22 points in a loss to Coeur d’Alene, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Brooke Donnelly, Rigby: Scored 20 points in a win over Post Falls, according to The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Brooke Jessen, Timberlake: Finished with 31 points in a win over Lakeland, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Brooklyn Rewers, Lake City: Totalled 17 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in a win over Idaho Falls, according to The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Skylar Burke, Coeur d’Alene: Scored 29 points, including the go-ahead bucket with less than 10 seconds left in a win over Skyline, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.
