SBLive Power 10 Idaho high school football rankings, Week 7: Bishop Kelly moves into upper echelon with statement win over Burley

After Knights' 69-14 victory, they move up to No. 5 in the all-classification rankings

Each week, SBLive Idaho will update its all-classification top-10 high school football rankings.

Here is the Week 7 list compiled by SBLive Idaho correspondent Brandon Walton:

1. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (6-0)

Last week: Defeated Capital, 63-0.

This week: Travels to No. 2 Meridian.

Vaunted defense posted first shutout of the season, while QB Tegan Sweaney threw for 241 yards and two scores - with a 46-yard touchdown run mixed in.

2. MERIDIAN (6-0)

Last week: Defeated Centennial, 48-0.

This week: Hosts No. 1 Rocky Mountain.

Racked up 249 yards on the ground last week while defense has now held five consecutive opponents to seven points or fewer (with first shutout).

3. RIGBY (5-1)

Last week: Defeated No. 6 Skyline, 28-0.

This week: Travels to No. 8 Highland.

Trojans did what no other team has yet to do this season - keep Grizzlies, led by Oregon commit Kenyon Sadiq, out of end zone and off scoreboard.

4. MOUNTAIN VIEW (4-2)

Last week: Defeated Kuna, 45-17.

This week: Travels to No. 7 Eagle.

No Dawson Wahl, no problem. WR Justin McGee moved under center to throw for 296 yards and three touchdowns in first career start as team wins fourth in a row.

5. BISHOP KELLY (6-0)

Last week: Defeated Burley, 63-14.

This week: Hosts Emmett.

After the Knights dismantled classification's top-ranked offense, now they can turn their focus to Emmett, which has beaten them for 4A SIC title the past two seasons.

6. SKYLINE (4-2)

Last week: Lost to No. 3 Rigby, 28-0

This week: Travels to Blackfoot.

After having opening-series field goal blocked, Grizzlies never got it going - and were shut out for first time in three years. Now the high-powered Broncos lurk.

7. EAGLE (4-2)

Last week: Defeated Boise, 23-13.

This week: Hosts No. 4 Mountain View.

Mustangs broke out to 23-0 lead, thanks to rushing duo of Roah Burnham (87 yards, two TDs) and Roy Hull (127 yards). Notched third consecutive win.

8. HIGHLAND (3-3)

Last week: Defeated Blackfoot, 34-28.

This week: Hosts No. 3 Rigby.

Finally got offense going - 280 yards on the ground. Half of that came from QB Drew Hymas, who also had two rushing touchdowns.

9. SUGAR-SALEM (6-0)

Last week: Defeated Layton Christian (UT), 28-9.

This week: Bye.

Off to a 6-0 start for the second time in three seasons after being the small-school Utah powerhouse, led by Oregon commit Tevita Pome'e.

10. MINICO (6-1)

Last week: Defeated Canyon Ridge, 69-7.

This week: Hosts Jerome.

Spartans continued to have Riverhawks’ number by riding big first quarter (35 points; pick-6 by Stockton Chandler) for 13th win in a row in series.
