Here's a look at the SBLive Illinois Power 25 (records through May 13):

1. Providence (25-6)

Last week: 1

Celtics won the Catholic Blue at 15-3, splitting their final conference series with Mount Carmel (5-2 loss, 4-2 win). They also blanked Stagg 6-0 and fell 4-3 to Lincoln-Way Central.

2. St. Laurence (24-8)

Last week: 4

Vikings are second in Catholic Blue at 13-4. Last week they blanked St. Rita 10-0, split with Brother Rice (5-1 win, 6-5 loss) and shut out Neuqua Valley 7-0.

3. Joliet Catholic (19-8-1)

Last week: 2

Hilltoppers edged St, Viator 3-2 to win their division in the East Suburban Catholic before falling 4-0 to Niles Notre Dame in the ESCC tourney semifinals. JCA also fell 3-2 to Benet.

4. Nazareth (22-5)

Last week: 7

Roadrunners blanked Carmel 6-0, fell 11-1 to Marist and shut out St. Viator 3-0 in the East Suburban Catholic tourney semifinals. They play Notre Dame for the title on Monday.

5. New Trier (22-4)

Last week: 6

Trevians swept Niles West 14-0 and 7-1, and defeated Maine West 14-1.

6. Evanston (25-5)

Last week: 5

Wildkits are tied for second with Glenbrook North in tight Central Suburban South at 11-3, a half-game behind 11-2 Maine South and a half-game ahead of 10-3 New Trier. They beat Notre Dame 4-1, were swept by Maine South (1-0 in eight innings and 5-4) and defeated Deerfield 3-1.

7. Lincoln-Way East (24-6)

Last week: 13

Southwest Suburban Blue leaders at 10-1, Griffins have won eight straight overall. Last week, they swept Sandburg 5-3 and 12-2, blanked Crete-Monee 10-0 and walked off Libertyville 5-4.

8. Huntley (23-6)

Last week: 8

Fox Valley Valley champs at 14-4. Red Raiders beat Dundee-Crown 17-0 and split with Crystal Lake South (13-1 win, 8-5 loss). Also fell 6-3 to Plainfield North.

9. Edwardsville (24-9)

Last week: 9

Southwestern champs went 8-2 in conference. Last week they split with Belleville East (2-1 win, 5-3 loss), fell 8-5 to Columbia and beat Jersey 10-7.

10. Mahomet-Seymour (28-4)

Last week: 10

Bulldogs swept Mt. Zion 4-0 and 4-0 to finish 10-2 in conference and win Apollo title. They also beat Prairie Central 11-1, shut out Maroa-Forsyth 14-0 and fell 9-6 to Tri-Valley.

11. Downers Grove North (24-4)

Last week: 11

West Suburban Silver leaders have won nine in a row. Last week they swept Proviso West 6-0, 18-1 and 18-1, and blanked Willowbrook 10-0.

12. St. Charles East (23-2)

Last week: 15

Saints have clinched DuKane title at 18-1 and have won six straight overall. Last week they swept Batavia 6-5, 12-4 and 3-0 and beat Wheaton North 6-2.

13. Lemont (23-6)

Last week: 20

South Suburban Blue leaders are 15-0 in conference and have won six straight overall. Last week they swept TF North 20-0 and 15-0, swept Hillcrest 17-1 and 10-0, and beat Lockport 8-1.

14. Lockport (18-9)

Last week: 12

Porters beat Minooka 7-6 and Stagg 6-0 to extend their winning streak to seven games before losing 8-1 to Lemont.

15. Lincoln-Way West (22-7)

Last week: 14

Warriors have clinched Southwest Suburban Red at 9-2. They beat rival Lincoln-Way Central twice by the same 4-3 score, the first game going eight innings and the second one lasting nine innings. Also blanked Shepard 6-0 and fell 4-3 to Palatine.

16. Stevenson (24-7)

Last week: 17

Patriots and Libertyville tied for North Suburban lead at 10-2. They meet Monday and Tuesday with the conference title on the line. Last week, Stevenson swept Waukegan 11-0 and 11-0, and beat Grayslake Central 6-3.

17. St. Viator (18-7)

Last week: 19

Lions won their division in the East Suburban Catholic at 9-3. Last week they beat Marian Catholic 10-2, downed Benet 10-9, lost 3-2 to Joliet Catholic and fell 3-0 to Nazareth in the conference tourney semifinals.

18. Brother Rice (18-14)

Last week: 3

Crusaders finished Catholic Blue play at 13-5, losing 9-1 to Loyola and splitting with St. Laurence (5-1 loss, 6-5 win). Also fell 10-6 to neighborhood rival Marist.

19. Lyons (21-7)

Last week: 16

Lions dropped two of three to York (13-4 win, 9-8 loss in eight innings, 13-1 loss) and beat Leyden 10-4.

20. St. Rita (21-9)

Last week: 18

Mustangs lost 10-0 to St. Laurence, swept Loyola 8-4 and 11-2, and walked off Homewood-Flossmoor 4-3.

21. Kenwood (24-4)

Last week: NR

Broncos won Public League Jackie Robinson South at 11-3 and have advanced to Public League playoff title game, set for May 22 at Guaranteed Rate Field against Payton. Last week, they beat Amundsen 6-3, Ogden 5-1 and Jackie Robinson North co-champ Lane 4-3 in eight innings.

22. Morris (23-4)

Last week: 22

Interstate Eight leaders are 13-1 in conference and had a 14-game winning streak snapped with a 7-1 loss to Sycamore. Bounced back to split the series with a 6-5 win, and downed Herscher 11-1.

23. Plainfield Central (26-7)

Last week: 23

Wildcats swept Romeoville 3-1, 1-0 and 8-2 to move to 11-1 in Southwest Prairie East. Also split with Riverside-Brookfield. (8-5 loss in nine innings, 8-4 win).

24. Father McGivney (34-1)

Last week: 25

Griffins take a five-game winning streak into IHSA Class 2A playoffs. Last week they beat Newton 7-1, Civic Memorial 13-0, O'Fallon 3-2 and Litchfield 12-3.

25. Grayslake Central (23-5)

Last week: NR

Clinched Northern Lake County title at 15-0. Last week, Rams beat Woodstock North 10-3, fell 2-1 to Richmond-Burton and 6-3 to Stevenson, and downed Warren 7-1.
