Who says you can't go home again?

After spurning Iowa once, Kadyn Proctor will be an Iowa Hawkeye. After announcing earlier this week that he is leaving Alabama following head coach Nick Saban's retirement, outlets began reporting Saturday that he is heading back to his home state.

Proctor makes the move without knowing who the Hawkeyes' offensive coordinator will be. Longtime head coach Kirk Ferentz hasn't announced a replacement for his son, Brian, who the program announced in October won't return next season. 

Proctor, a 6-foot-7, 360-pounder, started all 14 games for the Crimson Tide last year, allowing 12 sacks and 36 pressures, per Pro Football Focus. He was voted to the All-SEC Freshman team by the coaches.

Proctor, a five-star recruit, was initially committed to his home-state University of Iowa but flipped to Alabama before Signing Day in December 2022.
