Iowa senior quarterback Josiah Bushnell voted SBLive's Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week

Bushnell helps deliver district championship for Yellowjackets

In a pivotal game to decide the district championship, Josiah Bushnell delivered. 

Bushnell, a senior quarterback for Iowa, was clutch in a crucial game for the second straight week, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns in a come-from-behind, 26-21 win against St. Louis Catholic on Oct. 27 for the District 3-3A title.

He also completed 14-of-20 passes for 182 yards with a TD and no interceptions for Iowa, which improved to 7-2 with the win.

For his efforts, Bushnell was voted the SBLive Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 23-29.
