LaGrange senior Katelynn Wilson voted SBLive's Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week

Wilson scores her 1,000th career point in Lady Gators' win

Katelynn Wilson had a night to remember on Feb. 2. 

Wilson, a senior guard for LaGrange, scored 21 points as the Lady Gators posted a win against Washington-Marion that improved LaGrange to 17-8 and No. 7 in the Division II non-select power ratings. In that same game, Wilson scored her 1,000th career point.

She had 22 points on Feb. 6 as LaGrange defeated Leesville, winning its fifth straight district title in the process.

For her efforts, Williams was voted the SBLive Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 29-Feb. 4.
