Vote: Who has been the best senior quarterback in Maryland so far in 2023?

We’ve plucked out nine senior quarterbacks in Georgia that have stood out this season.

We are just past the mid-point part of the high school football season here in the Old Line State and there’s no shortage of upperclassmen performing at a high level. It’s no surprise that seniors are showing out in Maryland as that’s been the case in the past many times over. This list of upperclassmen features some of the top signal callers we’ve seen or have been on the rise in Maryland. Take a look at our list and vote for who you feel has been the top performing senior quarterback in Maryland.

Voting closes on October 31st, 11:59 pm.

Here are this week's nominations:

Luke Kercheval, North Hagerstown: Gotta like what Kercheval has done this season for the Hubs. The senior signal caller has completed 71-of-127 passes for 1,302 yards and 18 touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Isaiah Randall, Northern: Randall has been playing some of the best ball of any quarterbacks in Maryland this season. The Patriots’ quarterback has completed 69-of-90 (76 percent) passes for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Brian Jamison, Meade: Jamison has been smart with the football and throwing for a lot of touchdowns along the way. The senior gunslinger has completed 60-of-106 passes for 1,223 yards, 17 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

Michael Van Buren, St. Frances Academy: Ignore the record of the Panthers as Van Buren has gone up against some of the best programs in the country on a weekly basis. The Oregon commitment has played well despite the team not falling into the win column.

Brycen Coleman, Decatur: Another quarterback that has a high completion percentage along with getting his team into the endzone has been Coleman. The Seahawks’ quarterback has completed 55-of-76 (72 percent) for 815 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Anthony Dixon Jr., Richard Montgomery: Dixon Jr. is amassing a lot of yards per game, averaging 227 through the air. The quarterback has completed 76-of-111 passes for 1,137 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Evan Kuntz, Huntingtown: Through five games, Kunitz has shown he’s one of the state’s top senior passers as the Hurricane has thrown for 1,059 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Marshawn Perry, Potomac: At the halfway point, Perry has been impressive through the first five games. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound quarterback has completed 47-of-74 passes for 997 yards and 11 scores.

Winston Watkins, Mount St. Joseph: One of the state’s leaders in the yardage department has been Watkins so far. Watkins has completed 81-of-140 passes for 1,198 yards, nine touchdowns and just two picks for the Gaels.
