Ithaca football's Noah Risner voted SBLive's Michigan 2023 defensive Player of the Year

Risner was the winner of SBLive's defensive Player of the Year poll

Risner finished the 2023 season on the MHSFCA Division 8 First Team All-State. He finished with 149 total tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble.

Ithaca finished the season 11-1 with their only loss coming to Division 8 champion Ubly in the quarterfinals.
