Photos: Rosemount football rallies, holds off Prior Lake 27-17

The Irish held the Lakers out of the end zone in the second half

The Rosemount Irish (7-0) defeated the Prior Lake Lakers (4-3) 27-17 Friday night at Rosemount High School. 

Rosemount, the No. 1 team in the state, scored first on an 8-yard touchdown run from quarterback Landon Danner.

Prior Lake running back Grayson Spronk added two touchdowns in the second quarter to give the Lakers a 14-6 lead. 

Rosemount quarterback Gavin Caswell hit Darion Gildersleeve in the end zone to give cut Prior Lake's lead to 14-12 wat halftime. 

Prior Lake added a field goal in the third quarter, but Caswell passed to Chance Swansson for a 34-yard touchdown, and the Irish converted the 2-point attempt. 

Rosemount held Prior Lake until the Irish finished the game with a 22-yard touchdown from Will Priest.
