Photos: Edina boys soccer outlasts Eden Prairie in Section 2AAA Championship

The Hornets defeated the Eagles in overtime to advance to the state tournament

The Edina Hornets defeated the Eden Prairie Eagles 2-1 in the Section 2AAA Championship Tuesday night at Prior Lake High School. 

Luke Aadelen opened the scoring for Edina in the 42nd minute. Eden Prairie responded shortly after with a goal from Wilder Bocanegra Lima in the 44th minute. 

Both teams held at 1-1 until overtime. Carson Dederich scored in overtime to give Edina the win and send the Hornets to the state tournament.
