Track & Field

Claire Kohler, Minnetonka

The junior won the 300-meter hurdles (30-inch) with a personal best time of 43.91 seconds at the Hamline Elite Meet on April 28. She also won the 100-meter hurdles (33-inch) with a personal best time of 14.35 seconds.

Jordan Hecht, Rosemount

The senior threw the four-kilogram shot put 42 feet to win the event at the Hopkins True Team Invitational, April 25. She also won the discus at the Hamline Elite Meet with a throw of 144-feet, one inch.

Carson Hansen, Lakeville South

The senior won the 200-meter race at the Cougar Invitational on April 27, with a personal best time of 21.99 seconds. His team also won the 4x100 meter relay race with a time of 43.23 seconds, the fourth-best time in the state.

Grantham Green, Rosemount

The senior won the 300-meter hurdles (36-inch) event at the Hamline Elite Meet, April 28, posting the fastest time in the state (39.93 seconds) and first under 40 seconds. 

His 4x100 meter relay team finished second with a time of 42.98 seconds, and he also finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (39-inch) with a time of 14.86 seconds.

Juriad Hughes, Jr., Irondale

The junior won the 100-meter dash at the Hamline Elite Meet on April 28, posting a personal best and fifth-best time in the state (10.94 seconds). He also won the long jump with the fourth-longest jump in the state of 22 feet, 5.5 inches.

Lacrosse

Layne Kology, Buffalo

The senior attackman scored seven goals in a 15-0 shutout of Hopkins/St. Louis Park on May 1, scored five goals and added an assist in a 17-6 win at Chaska on April 29, and had three goals and two assists in a 6-5 win at Orono on April 26. His 29 goals leads all of Minnesota.

Axel Esco, Benilde-St. Margaret’s

The junior goaltender stopped 12 of 13 shots in an 11-1 win over Bloomington Jefferson, April 25. He had 11 saves on 20 shots in a 15-9 win at Prior Lake, April 27, and 10 saves on 20 shots in a 16-10 win at Edina, April 29. His six wins are tied for the most in the state.

Gisella Harder, Southwest Christian

The sophomore midfielder had five goals and an assist in a 10-7 win at Mound Westonka on April 25, scored four goals and had an assist in a 17-5 win at Tartan/North St. Paul two days later, and scored four more goals and added two assists in an 18-2 win over St. Paul Academy on April 29. Her 26 goals are second-most in Minnesota.

Molly Pierce, Grand Rapids/Greenway

The junior attacker had two goals and three assists in a 11-4 win at Brainerd, April 26, three goals and six assists in an 18-0 shutout of Rocori, April 29, and four goals and an assist in a 23-5 drubbing of Duluth Marshall, May 1. Her 14 assists are tied for third-most in the state.

Jordin Rosga, Cretin-Derham Hall

The seventh-grade midfielder had four goals and three assists in a 15-8 win at Woodbury on April 26, and had five goals and two assists in a 15-12 loss at Stillwater on April 28. Her 25 goals scored ranks third in Minnesota.
