JACKSON — One of the Magnolia State's top baseball prospects put on a show last night for the Jackson Academy Raiders Friday night.

Mississippi State signee Dakota Jordan had his fourth multi-homerun game of the season — and second in a row — as he broke the school record for home runs in a season with his 12th and 13th shot of the year against Madison-Ridgeland Academy.

The previous record of 12 was held by Matt Denny, who graduated in 2011 and went on to play for Ole Miss.

Jordan is now second in the country in both homers (13) and RBIs (47).
