McHenry threw five perfect innings

SALTILLO, Miss. - Connor McHenry opened the 2022 MHSAA 5A baseball playoffs with a gem on Friday.

McHenry, a senior right-hander, spun five perfect innings and struck out 10 to lift Saltillo to an 11-0 victory over Canton in Game 1 of their first-round 5A series. 

Game 2 of the series is scheduled for Saturday at noon at Canton.
