Look: Neshoba Central wins 9th straight Mississippi high school softball state championship

“We’re lucky to have the type of athletes we have,” Neshoba Central coach Zach Sanders said.

HATTIESBURG - Neshoba Central beat East Central 14-4 Wednesday night in five innings to capture an unprecedented ninth-straight Mississippi (MHSAA) Class 5A Softball State Championship. 

“We’re lucky to have the type of athletes we have,” Neshoba Central coach Zach Sanders said. "All of our female athletes, they don’t know anything about losing. They hate it, and they love to win.”
