Photos: South Nodaway downs Community in Missouri Class 1 baseball semifinal

OZARK, Mo. – The South Nodaway baseball team's offense was able to pull out a one-run win in the Class 1 quarterfinals to advance to the final four at Sky Bacon Stadium this week.
On Monday afternoon, the Longhorns' offense came through early and often in an 8-0 win over Community in its Class 1 semifinal.
South Nodaway (20-2) scored twice in the second, third and fifth innings before tacking on runs in the sixth and seventh while a collective effort from the pitching staff kept Community (18-6) off the scoreboard.
The Longhorns, who finished fourth in Class 1 a year ago, punched their ticket to the Class 1 championship game at 1 p.m. Tuesday where they will play defending champion St. Elizabeth (22-7). Community will play Cooter (23-6) in the third-place game at 10 a.m.
