SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI – Tyrique Brooks would not be denied this time.

The Springfield Central standout senior guard finished as the runner-up in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions dunk contest a year ago as a junior. 

This time Brooks left no doubt as to who was the best in the building.

Brooks emerged from a strong group of dunkers to take the title at the 2024 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions dunk contest on Saturday evening.

For his winning dunk, in the final round, Brooks threw down a thunderous one-handed dunk after three people.
