COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – The first half of the 2024 Missouri wrestling championships were completed on Thursday night at Mizzou Arena when boys champions were crowned in Class 1 and 2 and girls champions were crowned in Class 1.

Among the winners on Thursday night were Brookfield junior Peyton Parn and St. Michael the Archangel junior Sampson Stillwell.

Parn won the Missouri Class 1 championship at 132 pounds for his third state title in three seasons. Stillwell took the Class 2 title at 285 pounds for his third state championship in three seasons. 

Kearney (Class 1 girls), St. Pius X Kansas City (Class 1 boys) and Odessa (Class 2 boys) each took home team championships. It was the second straight title for the Kearney girls.  

The Missouri wrestling championships continue Friday and Saturday with Class 3 and 4 boys and Class 2 girls.
