The field has been set for the Kevin Durant National Hoopfest high school basketball showcase, which is coming to Seattle's Garfield High School in early December.

High school basketball insider Samas Hines reported Tuesday that Garfield, Eastside Catholic, Auburn, Nathan Hale and Seattle area-based upstart BFL Prep are in a field of national powerhouses that includes AZ Compass Prep (Ariz.), Cardinal-Ritter (Mo.), Southern California Academy and West Oaks Academy (Fla.), among others. The event takes place on Dec. 3 and 4.

The event was initially set to take place in December 2020, but was postponed in the pandemic.

Seattle is the second and only west coast stop in a four-city series. Similar events are set to take place in Memphis, Tenn. (Thanksgiving weekend), Dallas, Tex. (Dec. 9-11) and Tampa Bay, Fla. (Jan. 28-29).
