Photos: Providence cruises past Central Noble 62-49 to take Indiana Class 2A boys basketball state championship
Casey Kaelin scores game-high 21 points to lead the Pioneers to first state title

INDIANAPOLIS - Behind a 25-9 opening quarter, Providence cruised past Central Noble 62-49 on Saturday afternoon in the IHSAA Class 2A boys basketball championship at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Casey Kaelin scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Pioneers (21-6), who claimed their first boys state basketball title.
Grant Williams supplied 13 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds for Providence. Quentin Hesse added 12 points - which included connecting on three 3-pointers.
Connor Essegian led Central Noble (28-3) with 18 points while teammate Isaiah Gard had 10 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
