Ashton Daniels beats Coach Prime: Buford (Georgia) alum leads epic Stanford comeback win over Colorado

Stanford looked done through one half against Colorado and Coach Prime on Friday night.
But sophomore quarterback Ashton Daniels, a Buford High School (Georgia) alum, led the Cardinal to a 46-43 overtime victory over the Buffaloes.
Daniels' 30-yard touchdown pass to Elic Ayomanor in overtime tied the game, and Joshua Karty's 31-yard field goal won it after a Shedeur Sanders interception.
Daniels finished with 396 passing yards and four touchdowns to lead Stanford back from a 29-0 halftime deficit.
He led Buford to three straight state titles during his high school career.
Buford had a disappointing night earlier Friday when Mill Creek beat the Wolves 31-24 in a game broadcast nationally on ESPN — just like the Colorado-Stanford game.
High school football fans were left trying to scour the internet to find the finish of that game when the ESPN2 broadcast cut out with seconds remaining to shift to an NBA preseason game.
Stanford improved to 2-4 on the season with Friday's late-night win (early Saturday morning on the East Coast), while Colorado and Deion Sanders (Coach Prime) fell to 4-3.
