Minden volleyball player Mattie Kamery voted SBLive’s Nebraska high school athlete of the week for Aug. 28-Sept. 3

Minden volleyball player Mattie Kamery was voted SBLive’s Nebraska High School Athlete of the Week for Aug. 29-Sept. 3. 

Kamery totaled a whopping 30,222 votes (50.04%). Not far behind was Blair softball player Kalli Ulven with 25,527 votes (42.27%).

The junior closed a big week with a double-double when she had 15 kills and 14 assists in a sweep of Lexington. An all-around player, Kamery’s three games also came with seven aces, 13 digs and 30 assists.
