Congratulations to Bishop Kelly junior Blake Hawthorne for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week!

Hawthorne scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in an 11-point win over Emmett, reports The Idaho Press.

Hawthorne received 63.74% of the vote, beating out Fruitland's Hyrum Lindsey who finished second with 14.91%. Weiser's Brett Spencer finished third with 11.99% and Kuna's Gavin Gordon finished fourth 2.34%

Gavin Gordon, Kuna: Has 19 points and seven boards in a save-point win over Skyview, reports The Idaho Press.

Hyrum Lindsey, Fruitland: Had 40 points in a win over Weiser, then scored 24 points and grabbed 15 boards in a comfortable win over Homedale, reports The Idaho Press.

Nolan Bower, Fruitland: Scored 18 points and pulled down 10 boards in a win over Homedale, reports The Idaho Press.

Jason Janish, Eagle: Scored 19 points, nine boards and three blocks, in a win over Borah reports The Idaho Press.

Joe Reiber, Melba: Amassed 19 points, five steals and four assists in a blowout win over Marsing, reports The Idaho Press.

Jaylen Alexander, Columbia: Scored 17 points and had 10 boards in a win over Ridgevue, reports The Idaho Press.

Brett Spencer, Weiser: Scored 27 points in a loss to Fruitland, reports The Idaho Press.

Kolton Mitchell, Lake City: Scored 21 points to lead Lake City past Post Falls for the first time in six years, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Carson Seay, Lakeland: Scored 19 points in a landslide win over Sanpoint, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Malachi Bullington, North Idaho Christian:Finished with 24 points and 17 boards in a win over Christian Center, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Blake Thurston, Cascade: The senior was busy last week – with scoring games of 21 points against Garden Valley, 19 vs. Tri-Valley (and 12 rebounds) and 23 (his eighth 20-point game of the season) against Horseshoe Bend (and 13 rebounds).

Titus Yearout, Lapwai: The junior guard kept adding to his pile of 20-point season outbursts with 22 vs. St. Marie’s (four 3-pointers), and 23 vs. Clearwater Valley (three 3s).
