Four-star Lincoln defensive back Jahlil Florence announces commitment to Oregon Ducks

Jahlil Florence, a four-star senior defensive back from Lincoln High School, committed to the University of Oregon, he announced on CBS Sports on Monday afternoon.
Florence previously committed to the Ducks in August before opening up his recruitment in early December following the departure of head coach Mario Cristobal. After reopening his commitment, Florence officially visited USC and picked up offers from LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, and Miami. Newly named Oregon head coach Dan Lanning made Florence an immediate priority and was able to get Florence to return to campus this past weekend for an official visit.
Florence was a 1st team All-CIF San Diego Selection after grabbing five interceptions during his final season for the Hornets. He joins his Lincoln teammate Jalil Tucker as the two Oregon signees in the 2022 class from San Diego.
