Tyler Minnick and Davis Hodges each hit a two-run homer as Mount Paran scored a mercy-rule 16-0 win over Gordon Lee to open the baseball season this week.

Minnick, a junior Georgia Tech commit, had two hits and two runs in a game that lasted only three innings. Fellow junior Georgia Tech commit Tate McKee pitched two scoreless, hitless innings.

Mount Paran is the top-ranked team in Class A Private, while Gordon Lee entered the season ranked No. 2 in Class A Public.
