Isaiah Elohim commits to Arkansas basketball: Razorbacks land 4-star Sierra Canyon forward

Elohim is nation's No. 11 rated small forward, per 247 Sports

Isaiah Elohim, a big-bodied guard/forward and one of the top prospects in the country in 2024, has committed to Arkansas.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Sierra Canyon (California) senior is a 4-star prospect. He's the No. 42 prospect and No. 11 small forward in the country and the No. 5 overall prospect in California, according to 247 Sports

Originally from New York, he burst onto the map in Southern California as a freshman at Heritage Christian, averaging nearly 20 points and more than five boards per game before transferring to Sierra Canyon as a sophomore.

As a junior, he averaged 14.4 per game as a focal point of an offense that also included Bronny James and 4-star forward Ashton Hardaway.

Over that time, he racked up more than a dozen high-major offers.

For coach Eric Musselman, landing Elohim pushed the Razorbacks 2024 class to No. 14 in the country. Arkansas, which has played in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight in the past two seasons, has recruited among the nation's heavy-hitters in recent years under Musselman.

As of Thursday, there are 23 uncommitted prospects in the ESPN Top 50 in 2024. Elohim is No. 53.

Elohim joins a class that already includes Link Academy (Missouri) four-star forward Jalen Shelley.
