Winton Woods completes cruise through Region 8 by dominating top-seeded Piqua (photos)

Winton Woods continued its tear through the Division II playoffs, beating top-seeded Piqua in another double-digit win to advance to the state semifinals.
The No. 7-seeded Warriors won every one of its Region 8 games by at least 10 points and will face fellow 7 seed Green next week for a spot in the state championship game.
Winton Woods was in control from start to finish against previously undefeated Piqua, winning 38-17 behind a huge game from TyRek Spikes, who carried the ball 28 times for 230 yards and four touchdowns.
