Photos: Solon wins Division I district crown with 52-42 win over Jackson

RAVENNA, Ohio - After trailing by four at halftime, Solon turned in around in the second half to defeat Jackson 52-42 in an OHSAA Division I district final.

The Comets outscored the Polar Bears 32-18 over the final two quarters, including 22-13 in the third.

Morgan Blackford led the way for Solon with 14 points, while Chyanne Hatcher had 10 and Erica Olszewski and Sophia Lane added nine each.

Megan Campbell and Madison Lepley each scored 13 for Jackson and Leena Patibandla had nine.

The Comets advance to the regional semifinals at Medina, where they will play Canton McKinley on Tuesday, February 28th at 6:00 p.m.
