Congratulations to Guymon girls basketball shooting guard Naomi Aragonez for being voted SBLive’s Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21-27!
In her final home game, the Lady Tiger senior scored 32 points in a 75-40 win Tuesday against Ulysses, Kan. Aragonez also set a school record with seven 3-pointers and surpassed 1,000 career points in that same game.
Aragonez received 66.23% of the vote, beating out Roland's Haven Freeman who finished second with 26.82%. There were over 11,000 votes tallied this week!

Mullins went 18-0 her sophomore season, and won the 152 class at Saturday's state girls wrestling tournament with a pin-fall in a time of 2:42.
Symphony Veloz, Elgin girls wrestling
Veloz claimed a 1-0 decision in the 165 finals of the state girls wrestling tournament as she finished her season undefeated at 6-0.
Kali Hayden, Tulsa Union girls wrestling
Hayden went 16-0 her sophomore season, including winning the 185 finals of Saturday's state girls wrestling tournament with a pin-fall in just 53 seconds. Her performance also helped Union claim the girls team championship.
Angelo Ferrari, Stillwater boys wrestling
Ferrari won the Class 6A 160 weight class with a dramatic 2-1 overtime tiebreaker win in the finals against Owasso's Jordan Williams, a three-time 5A state champion, after getting a 3-2 decision in the semifinal round. Ferrari finished his sophomore season 38-1 and was named the most outstanding wrestler in 6A. He also helped the Pioneers claim the 6A team championship at Saturday's state wrestling finals in Oklahoma City.
Cameron Steed, Collinsville boys wrestling
Steed finished his senior season 48-2 by pinning all three of his opponents in the first period to win the 5A 152 class at the state wrestling tournament, including a time of 1:02 in the finals. He also became a four-time state champion, the 44th wrestler in state history to achieve such a feat. Steed's performance also helped the Cardinals win the 5A team championship, their 11th state title in the past 12 years.
Harley Andrews, Tuttle boys wrestling
Andrews finished undefeated for the second straight season and became a three-time state champion as he won the 285 weight class in Class 4A with an 8-0 major decision in the finals. He finished his senior season 46-0 as he also helped Tuttle claim the 4A boys championship, the Tigers' 14th consecutive state title win.
Case Rich, Marlow boys wrestling
Rich, a senior, finished an 8-0 season by claiming the 3A 145 weight class, taking the finals with a 4-2 sudden victory. His performance also enabled the Outlaws to win the 3A team championship, their second straight state title win and the eighth state title in program history.
Cael Hughes, Stillwater boys wrestling
Hughes became a three-time state wrestling champion by capturing first place in the 6A 126 class with an 11-1 major decision in the finals. He also went undefeated on the season, as the junior went 27-0.
Kyle Wilson, Marlow boys wrestling
Wilson went 6-0 his senior season in the 220, and won the 3A 220 with a 7-4 decision in the finals.
AJ Heeg, Edmond Memorial boys wrestling
Heeg won the 6A 182 class by avenging his only loss of the season, defeating Edmond North's Oscar Williams in the finals, 7-1. Heeg, a sophomore, finished his season 33-1.
Cash Donnell, Piedmont boys wrestling
Donnell finished 35-0 his sophomore season and claimed the 6A 113 title with a 12-5 decision in the finals of Saturday's state tournament in Oklahoma City.
Kyle Wilson, Marlow boys wrestling
Wilson went 6-0 his senior season in the 220, and won the 3A 220 with a 7-4 decision in the finals.

Evans went 7-0 his junior season, and got the 4A 152 championship with a 9-4 decision in the finals.

Allen went 14-0 his senior season and got the 4A 182 title by winning a 1-1 ultimate tie-breaker.

Wells finished his senior season with a 39-0 record and won the 5A 182 class Saturday with a 5-0 decision in the finals.
