The Panthers (21-5) turned 13 forced turnovers into 14 points and used a 15-2 free throw advantage to cruise past the cold-shooting Grizzlies (15-10) in a Class 5A boys basketball quarterfinal Wednesday in Corvallis.
Garrett Osborne led all scorers with 28 points in 32 minutes and Evan Otten notched nine points to go with a game-high nine rebounds for top-seeded Redmond.
Egan Shields (16 points) and Hawthorn Lapierre (eight points, seven rebounds) were the top performers for Ashland, which trailed 30-18 at halftime and shot 34.8% (16 of 46) for the contest.
