West Albany 41, No. 7 South Albany 25

Tyler Hart-McNally scored on a 38-yard run to put the host Bulldogs (3-2, 3-2 Mid-Willamette Conference) ahead for good in the win over the RedHawks (4-2, 4-2).

Sawyer Hallberg returned the second-half kickoff for a touchdown for the RedHawks’ final points and a 25-21 lead. 

The RedHawks’ Kaden Younger passed to DeShawn Gilliam for their first touchdown. Anthony Vestal (141 yards from scrimmage) and Max Louber scored on the ground for South Albany. 

Max Williams (five tackles) and Louber (four) led the RedHawks’ defense. 

Hart-McNally and Marcus Allen each ran for three touchdowns for the Bulldogs, who lost their previous two games.
