Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 30-Feb. 5 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Gianni Altman, Gold Beach

The senior guard poured in 38 points, including 23 in the first half, while sinking six 3-pointers in the process, pacing the Panthers in their 70-48 win over Oakland in a Valley Coast Conference game at Oakland High School.

Tucker Ashbeck, Heppner

The senior forward recorded a double-double for the Mustangs with 21 points and 12 rebounds in their 81-46 home win over Irrigon in a Blue Mountain Conference game.

Benjamin Bourne, Santiam Christian

The senior had another double-double for the Eagles, this time with 19 points and 13 rebounds in their 70-44 road win against Scio in a PacWest Conference contest.

Kalim Brown, Tigard

The senior guard scored 26 points to lead the way for the Tigers in their 88-85 double-overtime win over Lake Oswego in a Three Rivers League game at Lake Oswego High School.

Kaleb Burnett, Junction City

The senior post had a double-double for the Tigers with 22 points and 11 rebounds in their 67-52 nonleague home win over Cascade Christian. For the season, Burnett is averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Pearson Carmichael, Summit

The junior had two double-doubles for the Storm, tallying 35 points and 15 rebounds in an Intermountain Conference game at Mountain View and then 24 points and 12 rebounds in a 67-33 victory over Bend.

Isaac Carr, Central Catholic

The sophomore sank six 3-pointers on his way to posting a game-high 26 points for the Rams in their 76-52 win over Clackamas in a Mt. Hood Conference game at Central Catholic High School.

Isaiah Crane, Jesuit

The senior guard scored a game-high 24 points to help the Crusaders notch a 74-67 win over Beaverton in a key Metro League game at Jesuit High School.

Noah Friesen, St. Mary’s (Medford)

The senior guard poured in 30 points, 20 coming in the second half, to pace the Crusaders in a 74-59 win at Glide in a Far West League contest. He scored 25 points in a 73-36 victory over North Valley.

Haydn Gardner, Newberg

The senior wing sank six 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a team-high 20 points for the Tigers in a 64-51 win at Glencoe in a Pacific Conference clash.

Connor Gensman, Canby

The senior wing scored a team-high 24 points while also having six assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks for the Cougars in their 96-94 overtime victory at Hood River Valley in a Northwest Oregon Conference game.

Ray Gerrard, North Douglas

The senior forward recorded a double-double for the Warriors with 19 points and 11 rebounds in their 78-46 home victory over Umpqua Valley Christian in a Skyline League game. He poured in 30 points in a 78-30 win at Riddle.

Gator Goodrich, Stanfield

The senior guard/wing scored a game-high 25 points, including 16 in the third quarter, in leading the Tigers to a 77-37 home win over Enterprise in a Blue Mountain Conference contest.

Winters Grady, Lake Oswego

The sophomore wing poured in a game-high 29 points to pace the Lakers in their 67-61 win over Oregon City in a Three Rivers League game at Lake Oswego High School.

Drew Hall, Cascade Christian

The sophomore guard had a huge game for the Challengers with 21 points, 14 rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 72-37 win over Brookings-Harbor in a Far West League game. He scored 32 points in an 81-48 victory against North Valley.

Mark Hamper, West Linn

The senior forward helped the Lions post a key 60-54 home win over Tualatin in a Three Rivers League showdown, pulling down nine rebounds.

Boden Howell, South Medford

The sophomore guard had two huge games for the Panthers during the week. He had 40 points and 10 rebounds in an 89-74 victory at South Eugene, and he followed with 27 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 60-51 home win over West Salem.

Gavin Inglish, Pleasant Hill

The sophomore guard had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds while also having six steals and four assists in a 58-26 victory at Elmira.

Jonah Jones, Westside Christian

The senior forward had a huge triple-double for the Eagles with 16 points, 21 rebounds and 12 assists in their 78-36 road victory over Portland Adventist Academy in a Lewis & Clark League contest.

Brysen Kachel, West Albany

The junior forward was 17 of 17 from the free throw line on his way to scoring a game-high 29 points for the Bulldogs in a 63-57 overtime win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference showdown at West Albany High School.

Houston Klug, North Medford

The junior wing had 18 points and eight rebounds to help lead the Black Tornado to a 53-42 win over Willamette in a Southwest Conference game at Willamette High School. He had 22 points and four rebounds in a 97-65 win over South Eugene.

Noah Leary, Yoncalla

The senior post turned in a double-double for the Eagles with 18 points and 16 rebounds in their 50-48 home overtime win over Powers in a Skyline League contest.

Mykah Mendoza, Roseburg

The junior wing sank four 3-pointers and added two thunderous dunks on his way to scoring a game-high 22 points in a 73-46 win over Sheldon in a Southwest Conference game at Roseburg High School.

Owen Nathan, Roosevelt

The sophomore guard recorded a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds while also having seven blocks, five assists and four steals for the Roughriders in their 68-62 win at Wells in a Portland Interscholastic League game.

Solomon Nice, South Eugene

The senior forward had a double-double for the Axe with 25 points and 18 rebounds while also having two steals and a block in an 89-74 loss to South Medford in a Southwest Conference game at South Eugene High School.

Cameron Reich, Weston-McEwen

The senior scored a school-record 46 points for the TigerScots in their 74-23 home win over Irrigon in a Blue Mountain Conference contest.

Moroni Seely-Roberts, Lincoln

The senior shot at a 9-for-10 clip from the field on his way to scoring a game-high 23 points for the Cardinals in their 93-48 victory against McDaniel in a Portland Interscholastic League game at McDaniel High School. He had 20 points and nine rebounds in a 67-31 win over Franklin.

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The senior guard had another huge game for the Lions, this time with 41 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals in their 88-68 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League game at Tigard High School. He had 29 points in a 60-54 win over Tualatin in a TRL showdown.

Jayden Smotherman, New Hope Christian

The senior guard had a huge performance with 33 points, eight rebounds, eight steals and five assists for the Warriors in their 74-59 home win over Riddle in a Skyline League game. He scored 14 points in a 52-51 victory against Umpqua Valley Christian.

Liam Spencer, Sprague

The senior guard tallied a game-high 31 points to pace the Olympians in their 67-46 victory at South Salem in a Central Valley Conference clash. He scored 26 points in a 68-60 setback at West Salem.

Jared Sucher, Sherwood

The senior guard shined for the Bowmen with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in their 85-60 win at Century in a Pacific Conference contest.

Koen Thurman, South Eugene

The junior guard scored 38 points for the Axe, connecting on seven 3-pointers in the process, in a 97-65 loss at North Medford in a Southwest Conference game.

Gavyn Woody, Elkton

The sophomore guard sank six 3-point baskets and scored a game-high 26 points for the Elks in their 68-24 home victory over Camas Valley in a Skyline League game.
