Lincoln boys basketball coach Heather Seely-Roberts said she plans to return to the Cardinals next season despite the graduation of her twin sons, Malachi and Moroni.

“That’s the plan right now because my boys are going on their mission,” she said. “I need to have something to do.”

The Seely-Roberts family helped power Lincoln to a third-place finish at the Class 6A state tournament at the University of Portland’s Chiles Center. The Cardinals set a tournament record by hanging 94 points on second-seeded Barlow in the third-place game.

“The kids got a chance to play on the biggest stage and got to prove themselves and show they’re not only good players, but that Lincoln is a really good program,” Heather Seely-Roberts said.
