Anthony Allen, Neah-Kah-Nie
The senior running back/receiver had nine catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns, and he rushed for 83 yards and another score for the Pirates in a 66-44 loss at Irrigon.
Luke Baker, Clackamas
The junior ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns on six carries for the Cavaliers in their 28-7 win over Westview in a nonleague game at Clackamas High School.
Cope Christensen, Harper
The sophomore ran for 150 yards and scored four touchdowns and had a key interception on defense to help the Hornets open the season with a 26-20 win over defending Class 1A (6 man) state champion Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler.
Cayden Eckel, Roseburg
The senior running back rushed for 130 yards, including 109 in the first half, and scored two touchdowns in a 50-18 nonleague win over visiting Beaverton.
Kyle Fabela, Forest Grove
The junior receiver/defensive back had nine catches for 167 yards and three touchdowns, an interception return for a score and a kickoff return for a touchdown to help the Vikings run to a 39-22 nonleague win over Century at Forest Grove High School.
Jayden Fortier, Tualatin
The senior receiver had five catches for 120 yards and three touchdowns to go with a fumble recovery on defense for the Timberwolves in their 42-14 win at Summit in a nonleague contest.
Kyrin Fuimaono, McKay
The senior quarterback/safety had a huge performance for the Royal Scots in their 31-28 win at Lebanon. On offense, he completed 25 of 38 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns, and he rushed for 60 yards on eight carries. On defense, he had four tackles and an interception.
Kallen Gutridge, Wilsonville
The senior quarterback completed 15 of 19 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 32 yards and another score in helping the Wildcats roll to a 44-15 win over Thurston in a nonleague game at Wilsonville High School.
Lukas Hews, West Albany
The senior quarterback completed 21 of 25 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 105 yards and three more scores, leading the Bulldogs to a 42-12 win over Corvallis in a Mid-Willamette Conference opener at West Albany.
Noah Holub, Valley Catholic
The senior tight end, in just a quarter and a half of action, had five catches for 112 yards and a touchdown, and he had 10 tackles, including four and a half for loss, in helping the Valiants roll to a 39-2 nonleague win at Jefferson (3A).
Nick Hudson, Marist Catholic
The junior quarterback had five touchdown passes and added a 2-point conversion pass for the Spartans in their 36-35 overtime win at Churchill in a nonleague contest.
Gage Hurych, West Linn
The senior kicker made all three of his field goal attempts, converting kicks from 28, 22 and 19 yards, went 4 for 4 on extra points, had all eight of his kickoffs go for touchbacks and had his only punt downed inside the 5-yard line for the Lions in their 37-0 nonleague home win over Nelson.
Eli Johnson, South Salem
The senior receiver had four catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns to help the Saxons run to a 49-21 win over Liberty, Wash., in a game at South Salem High School.
Nolan Keeney, Tualatin
The junior quarterback, making his debut for the Timberwolves, accounted for 320 total yards of offense with five passing touchdowns and one running score in helping the team post a 42-14 win at Summit in a nonleague game.
Kelin Knutson, North Eugene
The senior quarterback accounted for six touchdowns (four rushing and two passing) in leading the Highlanders to a 41-40 win at Hidden Valley in a nonleague contest.
Landon Lea, South Eugene
The senior had a strong all-around game for the Axe, passing for 246 yards and three touchdowns, running for 96 yards, catching a 16-yard pass and coming up with an interception on defense in a 20-2 win over McDaniel in a nonleague game at South Eugene High School.
Reid Linkmeyer, Liberty
The junior rushed for 164 yards on 16 carries and scored four touchdowns for the Falcons in their 40-36 win over Sprague in a nonleague game at Sprague High School.
Devin Martin, Harrisburg
The senior rushed for 260 yards on 27 carries and scored five touchdowns for the Eagles in their 47-38 home win over North Marion in a nonleague contest.
Rocco McClave, Crescent Valley
The senior quarterback completed 16 of 20 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 102 yards and another score for the Raiders in their 27-12 home win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference opener.
Drew Nees, Sunset
The senior quarterback completed 17 of 19 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns and added 53 rushing yards for the Apollos in a 26-21 nonleague win at Sandy.
Cru Newman, Central Catholic
The senior quarterback got his season off to a flying start, completing 18 of 22 passes for 344 yards and five touchdowns and rushing for 65 yards, helping the Rams post a 48-27 win over Bellevue, Wash., in a game at Hillsboro Stadium.
Max Nowlin, Scappoose
The junior quarterback completed 22 of 27 pass attempts for 238 yards and three touchdowns in helping Scappoose run to a 41-0 win over Gladstone in a nonleague game at Scappoose High School.
Athan Palmateer, South Salem
The senior quarterback, playing his first game for the Saxons, completed 17 of 20 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns and added 64 rushing yards and two more scores in a 49-21 home win over Liberty, Wash.
Michael Prior, Neah-Kah-Nie
The senior quarterback completed 12 of 21 passes for 283 yards and five touchdowns, with no interceptions, in a 66-44 nonleague loss at Irrigon.
Kollin Schumacher, Regis
The senior quarterback/defensive back accounted for seven touchdowns, six passing and one on an interception return, leading the Rams to a 48-0 home win over Gaston. He completed 17 of 27 passes for 301 yards.
Zach Smith, Dayton
The senior running back ran for 216 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries and had a 22-yard touchdown catch for the Pirates in their season-opening 38-36 win at Yamhill-Carlton. He had six solo tackles, four assists and one pass defensed.
Tucker Snow, Gresham
The senior rushed for 208 yards and scored four touchdowns for the Gophers in a 28-27 loss to Franklin in a nonleague game at Franklin High School.
Keegan Stufflebeam, Days Creek
The junior tight end had five catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns in helping the Wolves post a 24-21 home win over Riddle.
Angel Valenzuela, Mountain View
The senior running back gained 257 yards on 19 carries and scored four times for the Cougars in their 49-20 win over Canby in a nonleague game at Canby High School.
Hunter Vaughn, North Douglas/Yoncalla
The sophomore running back ran for 288 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, and he had two catches for 74 yards and another score for the Warriors in their 38-36 win over Culver in a nonleague game at Yoncalla High School.
Mark Wiepert, Wilsonville
The junior receiver had six catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns and scored on a 12-yard run for the Wildcats in their 44-15 win over Thurston in a nonleague game at Wilsonville High School.
Jamahl Wilson, North Salem
The senior running back had 12 carries for 180 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings in their 35-6 win over Roosevelt in a nonleague game at North Salem High School.
Jaxon Grover, Joseph Charter
The senior receiver had six catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 65 yards and a score on two carries, helping the Eagles notch a 52-28 win over Echo.
Paul Skoro, La Salle Prep
The junior, making his debut at quarterback, ran for 148 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons in their 20-0 home win over St. Helens in a nonleague contest.
