Tigard vs. Lakeridge football: How to watch, get live score updates

Watch and follow live as Tigard and Lakeridge continue their heated rivalry, fresh on the heels of controversy earlier in the week

There is no shortage of history between Tigard and Lakeridge, but Thursday's matchup between the two Oregon-based schools will be layered with even more drama than usual.

What was already set to be an exciting matchup between a pair of 4-1 teams in the Three Rivers League took an unexpected turn this week when Cori Feist, the wife of interim Tigard head coach Ken Feist and mother of Tigard starting quarterback Jake Feist, was seen allegedly recording Lakeridge's football practice on Tuesday afternoon.

After taking turns beating one another each of the past five seasons, the two teams will face off once again on Thursday night with some added motivation to come away with the victory.

Tigard

The Tigers won their first six games of the season last year before losing four in a row, including a 42-6 blowout to Jesuit in the first round of the OSAA Class 6A playoffs.

They are off to another hot start again this year but suffered their first loss of the season last week in a 28-24 nailbiter against Oregon City.

Despite the loss, the Tigers are still on the fringe of making it into the Top 10 teams in the latest Oregon high school football media poll

Lakeridge

The Pacers finished last season with a 5-7 record but two of those wins came in the opening rounds of the Class 6A playoffs.

They too suffered their first loss of the year last week, but lost by just seven points on the road against No. 3 ranked Tualatin, and are still ranked No. 7 in this week's media poll.

Quarterback Gabriel Motschenbacher currently has the sixth-most passing yards in Class 6A, completing 81 of his 135 passes this season for 1,101 yards and nine touchdowns.
