Here are the Oregon high school boys soccer stars of the week for Oct. 9-15, as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Diego Alvarado Roldan, Glencoe

The junior midfielder recorded a hat trick, scoring three goals for the Crimson Tide in a 4-1 victory at Newberg in a Pacific Conference match.

Owen Burnett, Sandy

The junior forward scored a goal for the Pioneers in each of their matches with Barlow and Nelson in Mt. Hood Conference play. His goal helped the team get a 1-1 tie in the contest with the Hawks.

Matty Callison, Barlow

The sophomore midfielder scored three goals to lead the way for the Bruins in their 4-0 win against Clackamas in a Mt. Hood Conference match played at Barlow High School.

Matthew Castanon, Aloha

The senior, who usually plays in the midfield, moved to right defender and stepped up to control and block the opposition’s runners, helping the Warriors get a 2-0 shutout victory at Mountainside in Metro League play.

Angel Castillo, McLoughlin

The senior midfielder had six goals and three assists for the Pioneers in their 13-0 road win against Umatilla in a Special District 6 contest.

Ian Catarina Cruz, Liberty

The junior midfielder/forward scored four goals during week, three coming in a 4-0 win over Century in a Pacific Conference match.

Owen Cooper, Junction City

The junior midfielder/forward scored both of the Tigers’ goals in their 2-1 win over North Bend in a Sky Em League match played at Junction City High School.

Jason de la Cruz, Liberty

The senior goalkeeper, making several key plays, helped the Falcons post a 4-0 win over Century, and a 1-0 victory against Newberg in Pacific Conference play.

Kyle Denn, South Medford

The senior midfielder tallied four goals and an assist to lead the way for the Panthers in their 7-0 victory at Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference match.

Ismael Esparza, Stayton

The senior forward scored two goals for the Eagles in an 8-0 win at Sweet Home in an Oregon West Conference match, and then he scored two more goals in a 2-0 victory against North Marion, giving him a team-high 16 goals for the season.

Jay R Flores, South Salem

The junior tallied three goals for the Saxons in their 5-1 win over Sprague in a Central Valley Conference match played at South Salem High School.

Almikar Garcia, McLoughlin

The senior midfielder/forward tallied three goals and four assists in the Pioneers’ 13-0 win at Umatilla in a Special District 6 tilt.

Steve Gonzalez, Madras

The junior forward scored all four of the White Buffaloes’ goals in a 4-2 win at Estacada, and he added two more goals in a 3-1 home victory over Gladstone in Tri-Valley Conference matches.

Ryan Hendrickson, Lincoln

The junior goalkeeper has allowed only one goal over the past three matches, helping the Cardinals post wins over Franklin, Roosevelt and Ida B. Wells in Portland Interscholastic League action.

Brady Housley, Westside Christian

The senior forward, and a team captain, scored the match-winning goal for the Eagles in their 4-3 win over Valley Catholic in a key Special District 1 match played at Westside Christian High School.

Junior Huskic, David Douglas

The junior midfielder scored on a header shot in the opening minute for the only goal of the match in the Scots’ 1-0 win over Central Catholic in a key Mt. Hood Conference contest played at David Douglas High School.

Abdouraheem Jallow, Aloha

The senior midfielder assisted on both of the Warriors’ goals in their 2-0 victory over Mountainside in a Metro League match played at Mountainside High School.

Jonah Lasselle, West Albany

The sophomore forward had both a goal and an assist to help the Bulldogs notch a 3-0 win over Silverton in a Mid-Willamette Conference match played at Silverton High School.

Andre Lopez, Pendleton

The senior scored a pair of goals for the Buckaroos in their 3-2 home win against Ontario in a Greater Oregon League showdown.

Christian Martinez Trejo, Glencoe

The senior midfielder had both a goal and an assist to help the Crimson Tide come away with a 4-1 win over Newberg in a Pacific Conference tilt played at Newberg High School.

Dominic McGuire, Phoenix

The senior team captain scored two goals and added an assist for the Pirates in their 8-0 home win against Mazama in a Skyline Conference contest.

Treston Nguyen, Nelson

The senior center back, with his effort and leadership, helped the Hawks rally to get 1-1 ties against both Clackamas and Sandy in Mt. Hood Conference play.

Emori Pauli, South Umpqua

The senior forward scored three goals to help the Lancers triumph 7-4 against Glide in a home District 4 contest.

Cavan Quinones, Willamette Valley Christian

The senior forward/midfielder scored a pair of goals for the Warriors in a 5-2 home win against Central Christian in a Special District 7 match.

Brandon Sailer, Scappoose

The senior goalkeeper had seven saves for the Indians, helping them come away with a 0-0 tie against rival St. Helens in a Cowapa League match played at Scappoose High School.

Quillian Tourzan, Ashland

The sophomore forward scored three second-half goals to help power the Grizzlies to a 6-0 home win over Crater in a Midwestern League match.

Daniel Withers, Umpqua Valley Christian

The senior recorded a hat trick, his third of the season, while also having an assist in the Monarchs’ 6-0 home win over Sutherlin in a Special District 4 match.
