Benny Alves, Lakeview
The senior quarterback completed nine of 11 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns while also running for a pair of scores in the Honkers’ 54-0 home win over Scio in a Class 3A state playoff first round contest.
Jace Bateman, Adrian
The senior quarterback threw four touchdown passes and ran for two more scores to lead the Antelopes to a 58-36 home win over Camas Valley in a Class 1A 8-man state playoff first round game.
LaMarcus Bell, Lake Oswego
The sophomore running back had 11 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns for the Lakers in a 34-28 loss at Jesuit in a Class 6A state playoff first round contest.
Lonnie Burt, Jesuit
The senior running back/linebacker had 32 carries for 164 yards and a touchdown, two catches for 27 yards and a sack and a tackle for loss on defense in the Crusaders’ 34-28 victory against Lake Oswego in a Class 6A state playoff first round contest played at Jesuit High School.
Kadyn Butcher, Jesuit
The senior kicker booted 35 and 39-yard field goal and also recovered an onside kick for the Crusaders in their 34-28 victory over Lake Oswego in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Jesuit High School.
Eli Clason, Mountain View
The senior defensive lineman stepped up with three sacks for the Cougars in their 46-9 win over Eagle Point in a Class 5A state playoff first round tilt played at Mountain View High School.
Tyson Davis, Central Catholic
The sophomore running back ran for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only three carries for the Rams in their 56-0 win over North Medford in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Hillsboro Stadium.
Jaxson Decker, Clackamas
The senior running back rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown in the Cavaliers’ 28-7 win over Lincoln in a Class 6A Columbia Cup first round contest played at Clackamas High School.
Avery Durdahl, Nelson
The junior quarterback completed seven of eight passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns to help the Hawks soar to a 48-8 win at Ida B. Wells in a Class 6A state playoff first round clash.
Baird Gilroy, West Linn
The junior quarterback completed 12 of 16 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for a score, for the Lions in their 42-7 win over West Salem in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at West Linn High School.
Kallen Gutridge, Wilsonville
The senior quarterback passed for 336 yards and six touchdowns in helping lead the Wildcats to a 42-16 win over Crater in a Class 5A state playoff first round game played at Wilsonville High School.
Isaac Heveron, Newberg
The senior running back had 12 carries for 240 yards and five touchdowns, all coming in the first half, in helping the Tigers sprint to a 68-40 win over Franklin in a Class 6A Columbia Cup first round game played at Newberg High School.
Boston Hodges, Dayton
The senior quarterback ran for 145 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries in the Pirates’ 34-14 win over Siuslaw in a Class 3A state playoff first round game played at Dayton High School.
Nick Hudson, Marist Catholic
The junior quarterback completed 22 of 24 passes for 352 yards and four touchdowns, while also running for two more scores in leading the Spartans to a 42-15 home win over Crook County in a Class 4A state playoff first round contest.
Izzy Jantes, Seaside
The senior linebacker had a huge game on defense with four sacks and two forced fumbles for the Seagulls in their 26-0 home win over Estacada in a Class 4A state playoff first round contest.
Elias Johnson, Jesuit
The senior receiver had a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and he also had a 31-yard touchdown reception for the Crusaders in their 34-28 win over Lake Oswego in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Jesuit High School.
Nolan Keeney, Tualatin
The junior quarterback, in his first game back from a broken collarbone injury, completed 14 of 17 passes for 363 yards and four touchdowns for the Timberwolves in their 49-3 win over Roosevelt in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Tualatin High School.
Bryce Kuenzi, Cascade
The sophomore running back ran for 197 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries for the Cougars in their 32-8 victory at Tillamook in a Class 4A state playoff first round contest.
Cash Landau, Franklin
The junior receiver had 13 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns, as well as having an interception on defense for the Lightning in a 68-40 loss at Newberg in a Class 6A Columbia Cup first round game.
Kade Long, Banks
The senior quarterback completed 12 of 18 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns, all coming in the first half, in leading the Braves to a 38-16 win over Burns in a Class 3A state playoff first round game played at Banks High School.
Roman Martin, Tigard
The senior receiver had seven catches for 205 yards and a touchdowns for the Tigers, helping them post a 17-0 win over South Salem in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at South Salem High School.
Charlie McPhee, Lakeridge
The senior linebacker had seven tackles, with two going for losses, while also forcing a fumble for the Pacers in their 13-10 win over Sheldon in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Lakeridge High School.
Carson Mullins, Tualatin
The senior running back ran for two third-quarter touchdowns for the Timberwolves to help them post a 49-3 win over Roosevelt in a Class 6A first round game at Tualatin High School.
Drew Nees, Sunset
The senior quarterback completed nine of 13 passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 64 yards and another score for the Apollos in their 47-27 win over Sandy in a Class 6A Columbia Cup first round game played at Sunset High School.
AJ Noland, Tualatin
The senior, in his first game back at receiver after filling in at quarterback for the Timberwolves, had four catches for 185 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-3 win over Roosevelt in a Class 6A state playoff first round game played at Tualatin High School.
Skyler Salzman, Hillsboro
The senior running back rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns to help lead the Spartans to a 28-8 win over McKay in a Class 5A state playoff first round game played at Hare Field.
Colten Stepleton, Vale
The senior quarterback went 12 of 15 passing with 225 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings in their 33-0 home win over Santiam Christian in a Class 3A state playoff first round contest.
Killian Sombe, Central Catholic
The sophomore running back had a rushing touchdown to help the Rams notch a 56-0 win over North Medford in a Class 6A first round game at Hillsboro Stadium.
Sawyer Teeney, Silverton
The junior quarterback completed 11 of 13 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 137 yards and three more scores on five carries, leading the Foxes to a 44-7 win over Hood River Valley in a Class 5A state playoff first round game played at Silverton High School.
Noah Tishendorf, Lakeridge
The sophomore’s 3-yard touchdown run with less than nine minutes remaining gave the Pacers their first lead and sent them to a 13-10 win over Sheldon in a Class 6A first round game at Lakeridge High School.
Will Reid, Franklin
The senior quarterback completed 40 of 66 passes for 591 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for a pair of scores, for the Lightning in a 68-40 loss at Newberg in a Class 6A Columbia Cup first round contest.
Luke Womack, Lakeridge
The senior defensive back’s interception in the closing seconds sealed the Pacers’ 13-10 win over Sheldon in a Class 6A first round game at Lakeridge High School.
