Chanucey Andersen, Jefferson
The junior tallied a game-high 24 points to help lead the Democrats to a 52-44 win over Tualatin in a nonleague showdown at Tualatin High School.
Brooke Anderson, Grants Pass
The senior guard scored a total of 66 points in three games, including a 27-point single-game performance, helping the Lady Cavers go 2-1 in their season-opening trip to Reno, Nevada.
Mariah Bailey, Cottage Grove
The sophomore guard scored 23 points, making five 3-pointers in the process, and had five steals, three rebounds and two assists for the Lions in a 58-38 win over Gladstone. For the week, which also included a win over Newport and a loss to Henley, she had 48 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and 10 steals.
Kuenzi Blubaugh, Newberg
The sophomore guard scored 20 points on a 7-for-10 shooting night from the field and had four steals and two assists for the Tigers in their 62-39 win over Canby in a nonleague game at Canby High School.
Lauren Buchanan, Forest Grove
The senior turned in a strong all-around performance for the Vikings with 13 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals in their 58-40 win over Lakeridge in a nonleague game at Forest Grove High School.
Avery Buss, McNary
The senior guard tallied a game-high 16 points and five steals for the Celtics in their 68-51 victory against Thurston in a nonleague contest at McNary High School.
Hadley Craig, Central
The junior guard turned in a big week for the Panthers as they opened their season. In a 48-43 win at Mountain View, she had 29 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. In a 51-46 overtime loss at Glencoe, she had 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Jazzy Davidson, Clackamas
The junior forward opened her season by pouring in 38 points, shooting at a 64-percent clip from the field, and pulling down 11 rebounds for the Cavaliers in their 67-48 win over South Medford in a nonleague game at Clackamas High School.
Taylor Donaldson, South Albany
The sophomore recorded a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds for the RedHawks in their 57-54 win at North Eugene in a nonleague contest.
Lydia Gray, Newberg
The junior forward went 8 for 10 from the field, including four 3-pointers on five attempts, as she scored 21 points, pulled down seven rebounds and had five steals for the Tigers in a 62-39 nonleague victory at Canby.
Evalynn Guzman, Illinois Valley
The junior sank five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 29 points for the Cougars in their 51-42 home victory against Days Creek in a nonleague contest.
Riley Ha, Lake Oswego
The senior guard scored a game-high 20 points in addition to having six rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Lakers in their 55-48 home win over Sprague in a nonleague tilt. She had 10 points, six steals and two rebounds in three quarters of play in a 54-7 win over Reynolds.
Keely Hall, Klamath Union
The senior power forward scored 25 points, going 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and had five rebounds, a steal and a block in addition to playing strong defense for the Pelicans in their 63-38 win over Santiam Christian in a first-round game at the Les Schwab December Classic at Junction City.
Izzie Harms, Willamette
The junior forward had 28 points, four rebounds and three steals for the Wolverines in an 82-34 nonleague win over Wilsonville. She had 10 points and two rebounds in a 54-34 victory against Crater.
Aubrey Hilton, Tillamook
The sophomore wing/forward, and a team captain, scored a total of 35 points and sank four 3-pointers in each game in helping the Cheesemakers post wins over Yamhill-Carlton and Valley Catholic.
Jayda Jackson, Central Catholic
The senior scored a team-high 18 points in addition to having eight rebounds, five steals, five deflections and two assists for the Rams in their 39-37 victory at Roseburg in a nonleague contest.
Kaleah Medeiros, Westview
The senior had a double-double for the Wildcats with 21 points and 11 rebounds in their 62-41 home win over St. Mary’s Academy. She scored 17 points in a 48-40 victory at Putnam.
Lizabelle Osborn, Creswell
The senior wing recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds as well as having four blocks for the Bulldogs in their 52-38 nonleague victory at Junction City.
Caileigh Raines, North Medford
The junior post sank three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points for the Black Tornado in a 54-48 loss to Jesuit in a nonleague game at North Medford High School.
Danaeja Romero-Ah Sam, Springfield
The senior had another strong all-around performance for the Millers with 25 points, seven rebounds, six steals and two assists in their 61-29 victory at Sherwood in a nonleague contest.
Crystal Sanchez, Riverside
The senior had a game-high 24 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Pirates in a 44-22 win over Trout Lake/Glenwood in a first-round game of the Columbia River Clash in Umatilla.
Katelyn Senn, Bandon
The senior guard poured in a game-high 26 points to help the Tigers triumph 65-35 at Umpqua Valley Christian in a nonleague contest.
Lilly Schimel, Corbett
The junior sank four 3-point baskets on her way to scoring a game-high 18 points for the Cardinals in their 55-51 win at Amity in a nonleague contest.
Sara Schmerbach, South Medford
The junior guard scored 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting and had five rebounds, four steals and two assists for the Panthers in their 56-40 nonleague victory at Corvallis.
Carly Skogstad, Sprague
The sophomore guard tallied a game-high 21 points, including 14 in the first half, in leading the Olympians to a 36-20 win over Roseburg in a nonleague contest at Sprague High School.
Brynn Smith, Willamette
The junior guard sank five 3-point baskets on her way to scoring a game-high 27 points in addition to having four rebounds for the Wolverines in their 54-34 win over Crater in a nonleague game at Willamette High School. She had 24 points, six rebounds and five steals in an 82-34 victory over Wilsonville.
Sadie Snyder, Oakridge
The senior guard/wing exploded for 33 points, sinking four 3-pointers in the process, to lead the Warriors to a 56-37 win at South Umpqua in a nonleague contest.
Katie Spillum, Canby
The junior forward had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars in a nonleague contest with Newberg. She had nine points, 10 rebounds and four steals in a 50-42 victory over St. Mary’s Academy.
Emily Taunisila, Philomath
The sophomore guard scored a game-high 17 points on a 7-for-11 shooting night from the field and had four rebounds, four assists and three steals in helping the Warriors sprint to a 51-22 win over Pendleton in a nonleague contest at Philomath High School.
Ashlyn Weiler, Lakeridge
The sophomore guard/wing recorded a double-double for the Pacers with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 58-40 loss at Forest Grove in a nonleague contest.
Sage Winslow, Crater
The junior guard had a game-high 22 points, seven steals and three assists for the Comets in their 69-12 win over Hidden Valley in a nonleague contest at Crater High School.
Taylor Young, South Medford
The sophomore scored a game-high 20 points, sinking three 3-pointers in the process, and had two steals for the Panthers in their 56-40 nonleague victory at Corvallis.
